From the return of their community-driven Writers Workshop to the high-energy Script Shuffle and the much-anticipated Shuffle Fest, Fake ID is creating space for emerging playwrights, directors, and performers to make noise, find their voice, and build something together.

📍 Free Writers WorkshopJanuary 15 | 7 PM | Thymele Arts – Hollywood Kick off the year with a spark. This free writing workshop is open to all levels, from the “maybe I’ll write someday” crowd to seasoned playwrights. No pressure. No grades. Just exercises, prompts, and shared creative energy. 📍 Script Shuffle – January EditionJanuary 22 | 7 PM | Skiptown Playhouse – Los AngelesTen pages. Cold reads. No rehearsal. The Script Shuffle is back. Join us for a one-night-only staged reading series where new work gets its first breath in front of a live audience. Writers hear their words out loud. Actors flex fast. 📍 Shuffle Fest – Spring 2026 (Exact Date TBA) We're bringing back our Third annual flagship 10-minute play festival this spring, aiming for early April. Expect multiple original plays performed back-to-back, directed and acted by local creatives, staged in a fully produced setting. One day will be dedicated to tech and dress rehearsals, followed by two nights of live performances. Stay tuned for the call for submissions.
